The Dayton Hikers Passport To Adventure program is a fun and exciting way to explore our local parks. Hike with the Dayton Hikers group and receive a sticker for each park where you hike and fill your passport.  The purpose of the program is to encourage Dayton Hikers members to hike in our local parks. The passport features 24 parks including state parks, county parks, city parks, and nature preserves that are hiker destinations. In addition, there are 8 specialty stickers that you can obtain. Blank passports are available for $10. Stickers are free. Passport sales ended on May 13, 2019.

Note: The Passport To Adventure is not a comprehensive list of all parks in the Dayton area. A variety of parks with the longest hiking trails that are frequently visited by hikers was chosen for this program. You are encouraged to visit all of our local parks and preserves.

Program Rules

• The Passport To Adventure program is open to people who are members of the Dayton Hikers group and have a passport booklet.
• Participating in a qualifying hike earns you a sticker for each park in which you hike. You must be signed up for the hike.
• You can begin earning stickers when you receive your passport. Previous hikes do not qualify for a sticker.
• Qualifying hikes are any hikes led by a participating hike leader and scheduled on the Dayton Hikers site.
• There is no requirement that you hike every mile of trail in a park. Hikes of all lengths qualify.
• Stickers will be given out by participating hike leaders at the end of the hike.
• You may earn up to (but no more than) 3 stickers per any one scheduled event.
• Follow all park rules and regulations and practice Leave No Trace.
• Get the Great Miami Outfitters sticker from Great Miami Outfitters. All other stickers are given out by hike leaders.
• Present your filled passport at Great Miami Outfitters and receive a $10 gift card. Quantities are limited.
